Classroom Experience
My name is Steve Koontz and I own and operate Keep It Watered. In 2015 I helped my first school system add Tower Gardens to their classrooms. Over the years I’ve trained countless teachers and been in numerous school classrooms teaching students how to grow their own food on hydroponic gardening systems. When I talk with you about your gardening needs, I bring an understanding of the unique challenges you face with classroom gardening.

Most companies only sell their brand of hydroponic gardening system, which might not meet your needs. With Keep It Watered, I have four brands of hydroponic gardening systems to offer schools. This uniquely positions me to guide you to a system that best meets your school classroom needs.
Training and Support
Sure you could figure it out yourself, but why take the time? I’ll personally train you, either in person or over video call, then support you along the way when you have questions or problems–at no extra charge.

You need classroom resources and Keep It Watered has them. On my Tower Garden curriculum and lesson plans page, you’ll find lesson plans I’ve written that match state standards, plus links to other resources to help you integrate the gardening experience into what you’re already teaching.
