Tower Garden Education

Planting your Tower Garden is what takes the most time. Once the seedlings are growing, it only takes about 10 minutes each week to maintain healthy plants. But the planting of seeds is the foundation for learning where food comes from and how plants grow.

If you’d like to get your Tower Garden going, but don’t have the time to learn how it works, we’ll come to your classroom and lead your students through building the Tower Garden, planting seeds in rockwool, and teaching you next steps. Then, in just a few days, you’ll have your Tower Garden up and running for your students to enjoy and learn from.

In 1 hour, we’ll work with your students to:

• Learn what it takes to grow veggies indoors.
• Learn how an aeroponic system, like a Tower Garden, works.
• Assemble the Tower Garden.
• Plant seeds in rockwool.
• Add water to the Tower Garden, nutrient, and balance the pH.
• Leave instructions for you and your students to grow healthy plants .

Cost

If you already have a Tower Garden to use – $150 (plus travel)

Lease a Tower Garden from Keep It Watered for the 6-week growing cycle – $250 extra
