Steve helping a student put a plant into a Tower Garden

The best place to put a hydroponic system is where your students can easily interact with it. I’ve seen Tower Gardens in school offices, hallways, and cafeterias. Even though all these places are good, I feel the best place is in the classroom.

Grow in Your Classroom

By growing in the classroom, your students will be excited when they see the seeds sprout. You’ll be able to have a small group take 5 minutes and balance the pH. Integrating the growing experience into their studies will be easier since the system is right there to refer to.

Lights too Bright?

If the lights on the system are too bright for your students, have the lights turn on when they leave for the day and turn off 12-14 hours later. That will be plenty of light for the plants, but still give the plants a few hours of darkness.
